CRESTON COMMUNITY COMPLEX
Creston, British Columbia
This project is currently at the design stage. Just some of the
specific issues to be faced in designing this expansion and enhancement
to the Creston and District Community Complex Facility are:
- Providing a seamless connection between the existing and new
facilities.
- Producing a facility which will specifically cater to the needs
of the stakeholders and immediate population in the surrounding
area.
- Providing an energy efficient building.
- Successfully providing a facility which respects the current
and future usage trends in aquatic facility design/fitness/therapy.
- Creating a building that would be a maximum revenue generating
facility with minimum operational costs - to be as self-sustaining
as possible.
- Designing an extension to the facility that will successfully
"blend" with its surroundings and compliment the adjacent
buildings.
- Provide continuity of programming with a minimum disruption
and shutdown period.
