This multifunctional facility, completed in November 2007, offers something for everyone, from tots to seniors. For recreational use there's the waterslide, leisure pool, a one metre diving board and a private party room with terrace access for special occasions.

For therapeutic purposes, the "lazy river", vortex pool, swirl pool, massage sprays and bubble machine, plus a warm up lap pool provide many health benefits. An entry ramp into the leisure pool and a lift for the lap pool will accommodate those with physical challenges.

This facility can host swimming competitions, all types of swim classes, kayak and scuba lessons.
A fitness centre, sauna and steam rooms, indoor/outdoor terrace, snack bar, a family change room in addition to the men's and ladies change rooms, a viewing terrace and bleachers round off the list.

The interior décor of the facility will reflect the rich natural heritage and beauty of the Pacific coastline, with prolific murals, eagles, trees, and exquisite wood accents. The- new facility will feature a 6-lane 25m lap pool with 1m dive boards, handicap accessible ramp, and a Tots' pool with leisure components such as a T-cup and sprays. Additional fun features will include a whirl pool, lazy river, waterslide and sauna. Male, female, and family change rooms are included in the design. The design has allowed full accessibility for the physically challenged.

This facility will greatly enhance the leisure and recreation services provided in the District of Sechelt Area and is sure to be successful and embraced by the local residents and tourists alike.
